Wellbeing

At St Francis Xavier’s College we are committed to the wellbeing of our students. The House system and Tutor groups break the students down into small "family" groups.

We have a Pastoral Care Team which meets on a regular basis. This team is over seen by the Dean of Students and consists of the Dean of Studies, the 8 House Coordinators, the School Counsellor, the Learning Support Coordinator and the Careers Adviser.

A School counsellor is available to the students on site every day - Ms Gayna Turner (Mondays & Fridays) and Ms Renee Tyczynski (Tuesday to Thursday).

The information evenings, orientation days, the "Get to Know You Day" and "Meet and Greets" with House Coordinators are all designed to facilitate a smooth transition into the College.

There are numerous activities and special days and events throughout the year which aim to build to enhance and build community.
